Thirteen CHS Students Qualify for State in District Rally

Thirteen Catholic High students achieved scores at District Literary Rally that qualify them for State Rally at LSU in April. 

Qualifying for state were Blake Mancuso, Advanced Math í Functions and Statistics; Brian Long, Algebra II; Nicholas Robert, Biology I; Joshua Worley, Biology II; Joseph Balhoff, Calculus; Carson Piontek, Chemistry; James Slezak, Computer Science; Matthew Berdon, English II; Roman Corripio, English III; Thomas Dusek, French I; Ryan Haycook, French II; Adam Langlois, Geometry; and Cameron Vicknair, Spanish I. 

Placing at district rally were Joseph Balhoff, first place in Calculus; Matthew Berdon, third place in English II; Joshua Campbell, seventh place in Calculus; Roman Corripio, third place in English III; Joshua Duke, second place in Advanced Math: Functions and Statistics; Thomas Dusek, third place in French I; Ryan Haycook, second place in French II; Adam Langlois, fourth place in Geometry; Brian Long, second place in Algebra II; Dominic Maggio, third place in Chemistry; Blake Mancuso, first place in Advanced Math: Functions and Statistics; Carson Piontek, second place in Chemistry; Nicholas Robert, third place in Biology I; Max Slezak, second place in Computer Science; Cameron Vicknair, sixth place in Spanish I; and Joshua Worley, fourth place in Biology II.

A school can only send one person per subject to State Rally; therefore, if Catholic High had first and second places in a subject, only the first place student will attend State Rally.
