Three CHS Seniors Receive LSU Chancellorí´s Alumni Scholars Award

Three Catholic High School seniors received the Louisiana State University Chancellorí´s Alumni Scholars Award.  Kurt Ristroph, Gunter Gaupp and Sam Justice were presented the award by LSU Representative Rob Dowie and LSU Assistant Director of Recruitment Tr_e George.  This award is given to the top 10 entering freshmen. Ristroph, Gaupp and Justice were three of only four students in the Baton Rouge area to receive LSUí´s highest scholarship.

To qualify for this award, students must have a minimum ACT of 33 or critical reading and math SAT of 1440 with a computed, six-semester high school GPA of at least a 3.0.   

Recipients of this award will receive a tuition exemption, on-campus room and board scholarship, a one-time $2,000 study abroad stipend and the opportunity to earn up to an additional $1,550 per year by participating in the Chancellorí´s Future Leaders in Research Program.
