Track and Field Has Good Showing at Brothers of the Sacred Heart Invitational

The CHS track & field team participated in its second meet of the 2016 outdoor season – the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Invitational. The meet was not scored due to the discus, long jump and triple jump events being cancelled because of wet grounds.

The Bears did score 216.5 points in the 15 events that were contested, far ahead of second place Episcopal with 86.5 points. Brother Martin tallied 65 points for third place. Southern Lab, Denham Springs and St. Michael also participated in the meet. CHS was victorious in 11 of the 15 events.
