Track and Field Team Competes for the First Time on the Pete Boudreaux Track in the Grizzly Relays

The CHS Track and Field Team had an impressive showing at the Grizzly Relays on Thursday, April 16. This was the first meet on the Pete Boudreaux Track since its renovation.

The Bears won all but one track event and five of seven field events. CHS had three athletes win in two different catagories. Kam Cummings won both the 110-meter hurdles (14.94 seconds) and the 300 hurdles (39.19 seconds); Nigel Despinasse won both the shot put (53 feet, 8 inches) and discus (146-0); and Logan Hart won both the 100 meters (11.24 seconds) and the 200 meters (22.58).
