Track & Field Grabs Another Title At Dutchtown Invitational Meet

The CHS track & field team captured the Dutchtown Invitational on Thursday in Geismar. The Bears scored 163 points, plenty more than 5-5A rival Dutchtown (90) on their way to another team track title. The Bears won seven events and were runner-ups in six. Sethan Hollier blazed the 100 in 10.7 and 200 in 21.82, to win both sprints and was honored with the Outstanding Track Man Award for the meet.

The team will travel a select group of individuals to compete on Saturday, April 1, in the Meet of Champions at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, Alabama. Events get underway at 12 noon.

Coach Boudreaux’s team will be back in action locally on Thursday, April 6, in the Josten’s Invitational a Episcopal.
