Track Team Sets Records and Takes First Place in Invitational

The track team took first place in the St. Thomas More Invitational on Wednesday, March 19 in Lafayette. The Bears outscored the second place team by more than 100 points in the 10 team competition. Andrew Rhorer set a school record in the long jump and Zack Oliver broke a 34 year-old freshman school record in the javelin.
In addition, Ben Guarisco won the award as the highest scoring track man in the meet. Other winners for the Bears were Gabe LeBlanc, High Hurdles; Ben Guarisco, 100 Meters; Julian Parker, 800 Meters; Jeremy Dismukes, Intermediate Hurdles; Kevin Taylor, 400 Meters; and the 4×200 and 4×400 relays composed of Ben Guarisco, Andrew Rhorer, Kevin Taylor, Julian Parker, Marcus Thomas and Rance Guerin.
