Track Team Starts Season with Win at CHS Tip-Off Invitational

The Track Team won their first meet of the season in the CHS Tip-Off Invitational on Saturday, March 2.  The Bears took first with a total of 261.5 points ahead of second place Scotlandville with 97.5 points.

Running Events:
100 meter:
Khalil Thomas, second with a time of 11.0

200 meter: Khalil Thomas, first with a time of 23.1

400 meter: D.J. Woodard, first with a time of 49.8; and Phillip Rodman, third with a time of 50.7

800 meter: Joseph St. Cyr, second with a time of 2:01.0

3200 meter: Joseph St. Cyr, second with a time of 10:00.6

110 hurdles: Ken Ward, first with a time of 13.8; Arthur Price, second with time of 14.6; and Davis Richardson, third with a time of 14.9

300 hurdles: Davis Richardson, first with a time of 40.9; Jonathan Hoffman, second with a time of 43.3

4X100 Relay: Catholic, first with a time of 44.4

4X200 Relay: Catholic, first with a time of 1:30.1

4X400 Relay: Catholic, first with a time of 3:30.7
