Track Team Wins Title in Grizzly Relays

The Catholic High Track team won the Grizzly Relays title on Thursday, April 14, with a total score of 202 1/2 points.  The Bears swept the relays and placed first in six individual events and two in field events. 

Placing in individual events were Cole Stafford, first in 1600 meter; Joseph St. Cyr, second in 1600 meter; Ken Ward, second in 110 hurdles; Jonathan Hoffmann, third in 110 hurdles; Khalil Thomas, first in 100 meter; Ben Ross, first in 800 meter; Matthew Rhorer, third in 800 meter; Jessie Cole, first in 400 meter; Chris Handy, second in 400 meter; D.J. Woodard, first in 300 hurdles; Jonathan Hoffmann, third in 300 hurdles; and Joseph St. Cyr, first in 3200 meter.

Placing in field events were Scott Odom, first in pole vault; Steven Hayden, second in pole vault; Anthony Van Duzee, second in shot put; Scott Salinas, third in shot put; Sloane Simoneaux, first in javelin; Scott Salinas, third in discus; Blake Middleton, second in triple jump.
