Twenty CHS Students Place in State Literary Rally
Twenty Catholic High students placed at State Literary Rally.
Ethan Beaman placed first overall in English IV. Mark Babin placed first in Advanced Math I and Ryan McNamara placed first in Journalism I. Ellis Sartain placed second in Advanced Math II and Benjamin Wiseman placed second in Biology II. Michael Bernhard placed third in Computer Science, Joshua Campbell placed third in Geometry and Hunter Rube placed fourth in Algebra II.
In Foreign Language Open Events, Mitchell LaBauve took Superior in Interpretive Reading III í French and Christopher Miller took Superior in Interpretive Reading IV í Spanish. Joseph DeLaune took Excellent in Extemporaneous Speaking IV í French, Charles LeBlanc took Excellent in Interpretive Reading IV í French and Adam Prevot took Excellent in Original Oratory. Stephen Hurdle took a Good rating in Extemporaneous Speaking III í Spanish, Davis Richardson took Good in Interpretive Reading II í Spanish and Thomas Karam took Good in Interpretive Reading III í Spanish.
In Music/Performance Open Events, Daniel Babin, Matthew Johnson, Dale Melancon and Jonathan Zeringue took a Superior rating in Boys Quartet.
