Two Seniors Sign To Run Track at Spring Hill College

CHS Seniors Brennan McLean and Conner Bueche have signed a letter of intent to run Track at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama.

While at CHS, McLean ran track and cross country.  He ran on the State Championship 4X800 relay team in 2011.  In Cross Country, he finished 25th in the state and number 5 on the team.    In addition, McLean was also president and founder of the Respect for Life Club, vice president of the B.A.D.D. Club, Student Minister and Student Ambassador.

íÍI chose Spring Hill because of the religious education; it was a great opportunity and it was similar to Catholic High.  I felt it was the right fit for me,íñ commented McLean.

McLean is the son of Kate and Michael McLean.

McLean plans to major in Business Administration at Spring Hill.

Buecheí´s love of cross country spans over eight years, having run since he was in the 4th grade.
He was a varsity member of the CHS cross country team the past two years and helped the Bears capture the state championship in 2011.

íÍSpring Hill brings the opportunity of unity and brotherhood with more people,íñ commented Bueche.  I decided to carry on the Catholic tradition and I find Spring Hill to be similar to Catholic High,íñ added Bueche.

Bueche is the son of Kurt and Kema Bueche.  His brother Cameron is a 2011 graduate of CHS and his brother Chandler is a sophomore at CHS.

At Spring Hill, Bueche plans to major in business administration and marketing.
