Ultimate Team To Travel to Atlanta for Juniors Terminus Tournament

CHS Varsity Ultimate team went 2-1 this weekend and the JV team went 1-1. Varsity won two games by a combined score of 26-2 and lost to Baton Rouge High 11-10.

“This weekend was a tough loss to take to Baton Rouge. We know we have a lot to work on in the final month of the season and are looking forward to an opportunity to show that we’ve improved when we face Baton Rouge High at the State Championship,” said Ultimate Coach Michael Aguilar. “The JV was able to dominate the only other JV team it played 13-3 this weekend. They lost a hotly contested game to Avoyelles Charter High School’s Varsity team. The JV continues to improve under the direction of coaches Collin Gillen ’11, Travis Vermaelen ’12, and Mark Graham ’13. I’m thankful that the players and coaches have the team headed in the right direction.”

The teams head to Atlanta, Georgia, for Juniors Terminus next weekend. The JV team will be looking to defend its tournament title at Terminus.
