Zachary Windham Selected To Attend TCU High School Investment

Catholic High School student Zachary Windham was selected to attend the 7th Annual TCU High School Investment Challenge held June 13 í 18, 2010, at the Neely School of Business at Texas Christian University. Windham was among 30 high school students selected to participate.  Twenty-five students from Texas were selected in addition to one student each from Arkansas, California, Kansas, Louisiana and New Mexico.

Windham spent the week taking classes led by Neeley Schoolí´s top finance faculty in economic cycles, time value of money and stock analysis.  During their week at TCU, each student learned to prepare and submit a stock report and made a presentation at the end of the week.

Throughout the 2010 í 2011 school year, each student will manage a $100,000 virtual portfolio.  They will submit stock trades online via TCUí´s eCollege.  Security analysts will critique the studentsí´ choices and coach them in stock picks.  Students will present their results at a banquet at TCU in the spring.

Windham will be a senior at Catholic High in the fall.
