Golf Team Place Second in CHS Spring Classic

The golf teams participated in the CHS Spring Classic yesterday at Copper Mill. Catholic High School recognized athletes at its Winter Sports Convocation on March 2 at the Catholic Life Center. Students were recognized for their special talents and skills in Basketball, Soccer and Wrestling. CHS Hi-Y Club Received the Premier Delegation Award at State Convention

The Hi-Y Club attended their state convention this weekend at the Louisiana State Capitol. Patrick Coco served as Governor, Justin Bello and Nicholas Persac's bills were passed and Bradley Sanchez was recognized as the outstanding statesman in the Senate. Kyle Vallot and James West won the talent show and Kyle was elected as the House Floor Leader for next year's convention. The entire club received the premier delegation award. Great job Bears!...

CHS Seniors Recognized as "Youth of the Year"

Eric Couper and Dixon McMakin were selected by the Exchange Club of Baton Rouge as 'Youth of the Year.' They were two of the six seniors selected throughout the parish. Recipients of this recognition receive a $200 savings bond. These students are now elligible for the recognition of "Youth of the Year" which is chosen in May.
