Jeffrey Garidel '04 joins the ranks of CHS graduates who continue their athletic career at the collegiate level. Catholic High School Senior Joey Chatelain has been named a semifinalist in the Toyota Community Scholars Program. This program was designed to recognize over 100 high school seniors throughout the United States for their excellence in academics, leadership and community service. The scholarships are valued at $10,000 to $20,000 each, over four years, for study at a four-year college or university. Three Seniors Named Presidential Scholar Candidates

Three Catholic High School seniors have been selected as candidates in the prestigious 2005 Presidential Scholars Program. They are Kevin Hanegan, Joey Chatelain and Patrick Coco. Inclusion in the program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating seniors. CHS has three of Baton Rouge's 11 candidates. There are 40 candidates from Louisiana schools.
