CHS Inducts John McCann into Grizzly Greats Athletic Hall of Fame

John McCann '66 was inducted into the CHS Grizzly Greats Athletic Hall of Fame at the Catholic High School Fall Sports Convocation on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Catholic Life Center. As a high school athlete, McCann was a three-year letterman on the football team and a member of the track team. He was a member of the 1963 football team that upset the Istrouma Indians for the first time in 27 years. Fourteen students or recent graduates at Catholic High School have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Programå¬ (APå¬) Exams. Pete Boudreaux to be Inducted Into Hall of Fame

Pete Boudreaux, a 1959 graduate of Catholic High School, will be inducted into the Catholic High School Hall of Fame December 9 at 7:15 p.m. at the 20th Annual Founders Banquet at the Holiday Inn Select. An LSU graduate and Southeastern Conference Champion and former record holder in the pole vault, Pete returned to Catholic High in 1966. He has served as history teacher, guidance counselor, head of guidance, chair of the physical education department, athletic director and head coach for cross country and track. Pete's tenure as head coach of the track and cross country teams has been extraordinary....
